Child & Adolescent Psychiatry
Childhood and adolescence are challenging. As a parent, you go to great lengths to ensure your children navigate these climates optimally while minimizing the negative emotional experiences inherent to this journey. This is arduous for both parents and children alike, and holds great potential for distress.
Childhood and adolescence are intrinsically rife with growth and developmental challenges that are truly unique to them. Their evolving capacities for thought and expression make it difficult to both understand and respond to the above pressures and this may subtly yet significantly overwhelm their capacities to grow into themselves at their pace, manifesting as emotional and behavioral difficulties.
Thrive Mind Psychiatry intervenes to clarify the nature of this distress and join the effort to forge solutions.
ADULT PSYCHIATRY

For parents
As a parent, you navigate your children’s challenges as well as your own.
The sense that your child is distressed or in some way off-track is frightening. It is intrinsically difficult to both understand and respond optimally. Your efforts to carefully guide your child’s development as well as your life makes certain challenges highly confusing and personally distressing. It may be unclear how to align your child’s unique developmental trajectory with the various challenges they face.
Thrive Mind Psychiatry will shepherd your family through and beyond challenge.
For adults seeking individual care
It is common for those functioning well or even of the highest levels and with admirable histories of resiliency to find themselves feeling alone in a particular emotional circumstance.
Thrive Mind Psychiatry joins your dilemma to nurture then leverage your unique value and strengths to enlighten your next steps.
